Introduction
Knowledge management emerged from the convergence of globalisation and the nexus of organisational and technological change, the developments have resulted in fundamental changes both to economies and to organisations. Central to such changes is recognition of knowledge as the most valuable resource available to organisations and as the most likely source of competitive advantage.
The purpose of knowledge management is to harness, develop and direct the expertise of your organisation and to apply it effectively to achieve strategic objectives. Its purpose is also to encourage learning and innovation as sources of competitive advantage. The training is split into two modules:
• Module I – Consist of 6 classroom based sessions
• Module II – An educational tour of the national archives centre, headquarters.
