Supply Chain in the Downstream Sector

Introduction
Getting the right product in the right place, at the right time and at the right cost involves careful management of the order cycle and inventory. You will learn about classic supply chain design as well as some of the choices involved in matching the supply chain to the needs of your organisation – what is involved in lean, green and agile supply chains.

Participants will learn about supply chain dynamics and systems, the balancing of supply and demand and the nature of supply chain risk. As a result of attending, attendees will be conversant with many of the key ideas and principles that are used in the modern supply chain and will be equipped to contribute in an informed way to the way it works in your organisation.
